What Information Does CompleteLandlord Gather About You?
CompleteLandlord collects information about our readers so that we can provide
a more interesting and useful service, as well as more appropriate advertising.
We ask for your name, email address, and other personal information when you
register to use certain features of our Web site, such as our discussion boards
or e-mail newsletters and/or tips. Recipients of our newsletters can
unsubscribe using the instructions listed at the end of the e-mail newsletter
or through their user account. We also may ask for this information at other
times, such as when you enter contests or other promotions sponsored by
CompleteLandlord and/or our partners. We sometimes conduct surveys as well,
although you do not have to respond to them.
If you use our recommendation service to e-mail one of our articles to a
friend, you will need to provide us with your friend's e-mail address and your
e-mail address as a return address. We will automatically send this person a
one-time email, with the recommended article attached, as well as invite your
friend to visit and register with our site. We will not use these e-mail
addresses for any other purpose.
We collect IP addresses for site security and to help us understand how people
use our sites so that we can improve our sites and our users' respective
experiences. For similar quality reasons, we use a feature known as a "cookie."
Cookies contain bits of information that websites transfer to your computer's
hard drive for record-keeping purposes. Cookies can make the Web more
convenient by storing information about your preferences on a site. Although we
may assign your browser a cookie, the cookie does not tell us who you are. Only

not for marketing anything else. Of course, if you then sign up for a
co-branded product from our partner, the information you provide to that

extent necessary to fulfill your order and charge your credit card (if
applicable). We may use a fulfillment company to fill and ship your order
(excluding products you download directly from our site) and a credit card

information you provide us on our secure servers. Further, the information you

Personalized areas of our sites, such as My Account, are password-protected.
Only you have access to these password-protected areas. Do not share your
passwords with anyone. CompleteLandlord will never ask you for your password in
an unsolicited phone call or e-mail. If you are using a computer to which
others have access, such as one in a computer lab, Internet cafe, or public
library, always remember to log out and close your browser window when leaving

Will CompleteLandlord Use Your Information for Direct Mailings?
If you register with CompleteLandlord or sign up for or buy any of our products

services, or other products and services we believe may interest you.

How does CompleteLandlord use information submitted to the
CompleteLandlord.com Property Management Solution™ tool?
CompleteLandlord may prepare and disclose overall information about the
CompleteLandlord.com Property Management Solution™ for its own business
purposes. Such information may include without limitation aggregate operating
and financial statistics and trends. CompleteLandlord shall have the right to
include Customer’s data in its preparation of the overall information, so long
as the disclosed information is prepared in a manner that avoids the
identification of Customer or its data.
How does CompleteLandlord use information submitted to the
CompleteLandlord.com Lease Creation Pro™ tool?
CompleteLandlord will not disclose any personally identifiable information
about individual users and tenants submitted through the CompleteLandlord.com
Lease Creation Pro™ tool. CompleteLandlord collects this information to provide
you, the user, with customized lease forms. This information is stored in a
secured environment, as described in the privacy statement, in order for you to
save and retrieve completed customized lease forms.
How Can You Deactivate Your Account or Edit the Information We Have
About You?
If you want to correct or change information in your Personal Profile, or any
other tidbits we have about you, please sign into the My Account area. You will
be able to make your changes right there.
How Do We Respect Children's Privacy?
Our sites are not directed at children under the age of 13. We operate our
sites in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act and will
not knowingly collect or use personally identifiable information from anyone
under 13.
What Else Should You Know About Your Privacy?
When you post information on discussion boards or in chat rooms, that
information, along with your screen name, is visible to the public. Please
remember that whenever you disclose personal information publicly that
information can be collected and used by others. In short, if you post personal
information online where people can see it, people will know that information
and you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return. If you
do not want strangers to have your e-mail address, you should not post your
e-mail address on a discussion board.
This Privacy Statement applies to the operations of our U.S. sites. Data
handling practices and rules may differ from country to country.
While we do our best to protect your personal information, CompleteLandlord
cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us,
and you do so at your own risk. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy
of any password and/or account information. Please be careful and responsible

Many of our advertisers or partners, such as insurance providers, merchants, or

any material change (or any notices that we are required to give you) on our

What You Should Know About The Future
CompleteLandlord is committed not only to your privacy, but to our own success.
However, if CompleteLandlord is ever acquired by another company, all of our
assets, including the information we have gathered, become the property of the
new owner. If this happens, the new owner's policies may override the
CompleteLandlord Privacy Policy. Also, if CompleteLandlord ever goes out of
business, all its assets, including the information we have gathered, may be
