CompleteLandlord.com Offers Webinar on Series LLCs Maximizing Asset Protection for Landlords-Saturday, April 14, 2007

CHICAGO, March 26,2007 - CompleteLandlord.com is offering a Webinar to help residential landlords learn the benefits of using series LLCs to protect their assets, minimize taxes and maximize cost savings. The Webinar is Saturday, April 14, 2007 from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. EST. CompleteLandlord.com hosts expert Debra J. Tucker, an experienced attorney and CPA, who will teach participants how to set up their investment real estate properties in a series LLC. This Webinar is part of a series of monthly sessions on important landlording topics from CompleteLandlord.com.

Webinar participants will learn:

  • How to protect investment assets from unexpected lawsuits
  • How to reduce administrative costs when forming LLCs
  • How LLCs enable landlords to use favorable laws to minimize taxes
  • How personal assets can be sheltered from real estate investment risks
  • Ways to insulate each property from legal claims that could otherwise bankrupt unprotected assets.

There will also be time during the Webinar for participants to ask questions about forming and managing series LLCs.

Debra J. Tucker is the author of several published books on series LLCs, including Should My Company be An LLC or Series LLC? She is the founder of The Tucker Law Firm, a firm that represents real estate investors in purchase transactions, formation of limited liability companies, 1031 exchanges and litigation. She has represented many Fortune 500 companies in complex litigation, including Exxon Mobil, Kraft, Motorola and General Motors Acceptance Corporation. She has appeared as a real estate legal expert on WGN-TV Chicago and FOX News. Debra received her Juris Doctor with honors from University of Chicago Law School.

The moderator is Scott Brueggeman, publisher of CompleteLandlord.com. According to Brueggeman, “Without LLC protection, many small and medium-sized landlords are totally exposed to unforeseen legal risks. One lawsuit from an injured or angry tenant can wipe out years of a landlord’s investment in his rental property. Series LLCs provide rental property owners with advantageous tax breaks as well.”

Brueggeman has 15 years real estate experience, including more than seven years as a landlord. He owns and operates several multi-family apartment buildings and investment properties. He received his real estate license in 2003 and is a member of the Chicago Association of Realtors and the National Association of Residential Property Managers.

The cost is $99. For those that register before April 2, 2007, they’ll save $50 off the registration fee. REGISTER ONLINE TODAY at
