I am looking into opening a property management business in Virginia Beach, I am a licensed agent... do I need a brokerage license here as well?

All but 14 states REQUIRE that a "fee manager" have a RE broker license in order to collect $$$. Several states like CO, don't separate broker and sales agents.

NC requires one to be a licensed RE BROKER to collect $ for the performance of property management duties.

Get a sales license, get experience as a PM, get a RE broker license and you are in business...
