Topic: PROPERTY MANAGEMENT IN PENNSYLVANIA
Hello, I'm in the process of starting a property mgmt company in PA, but I can't find anything in regards to whether I need a license to run a property mgmt business. The only thing I saw was I will need to either have a brokers license or have a broker sponsor me. Do you think that is all I need in regards to having a license?

You should probably contact the Small Business Administration in your state. They can usually tell you everything you need to know. The ones I've seen are LLC. I would also suggest calling another established prop mgt. company and inquire as to their qualifications as you have some property and are considering using their services. You may be able to flush out information that way.

Hello, I am also considering opening a Property Management Company. I have found very little info on the subject, a few books with not so good reviews. The state website says a Brokers License or a Real Estate Salesperson License is what is needed. I am licensed, so I need to talk to my broker to find out the next steps.
I cannot find any info on classes. If I discover anything I will let you know, if you do the same.
