Hello, I'm in the process of starting a property mgmt company in PA, but I can't find anything in regards to whether I need a license to run a property mgmt business. The only thing I saw was I will need to either have a brokers license or have a broker sponsor me. Do you think that is all I need in regards to having a license?

Folks,
Two questions:
1) Can any of you attest to a growing interest among existing and prospective residents in living in apartment communities offering recycling and other waste diversion opportunities?
2) Are you aware of any advertised or otherwise announced sustainability initiatives or policies being undertaken by particular apartment communities?

I have 28 years in the Apartment industry and have a chance to take over several small properties just about to change hands. I would like to fee manage these for the owner. Most of my experience is in the Maintenance area. I need tips. Should I just work for the owner or start my own company ?
