Topic: Candles
I am not only allergic to smoke, I'm also allergic to smelly things like fragrant candles, fragrant soaps, pouporri, smelly plug-ins, you get the picture. Our leases say "no smoking" but 1 tenant has about 60 stinky candles around the house. I don't know if they've been lit. When I walk in my eyes water, my nose drips, and I can't see or smell. Can I put anything in a lease to prevent this in the future?

No, there is nothing you can do about the candles- you shouldnt be over there so much that the fragrance bothers you like that. This person is not harming the property- the candles wont discolor your walls or carpet.
